David Birdsall

Dave navigates the often choppy waters of retail system implementations leveraging several decades of experience plus a solid sense of serenity—and humor.

Dave has over 35 years of experience in the retail industry leading clients through process design and software implementations. The first fifteen years of his retail career was in store operations management for a big box retailer, where he focused on inventory management, retail profit and loss reporting, store operations, employee development, customer service and problem solving. His experience also includes leading and participating in many large, complex supply chain process improvement initiatives and key business systems implementations within retail and manufacturing disciplines for Fortune 1000 companies. Dave now specializes in project management, business process improvement, system design and implementations. He has held the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, as well as an undergraduate degree in criminal justice from George Mason University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Dave has also authored a number of white papers, blogs, and articles focused on product lifecycle management, supply chain, and system implementations. Dave and his family live on a lake in Georgia, where he enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, playing fantasy football, working in the yard, and reading.
