Tools to Benchmark Your Organization

Based on my time spent with a number of retail and brand executives over the past 12 months, I've observed that most of them are thinking about how to work more efficiently, improve processes and align the organization for growth. This is especially true for the Merchandising, Inventory Management and Supply Chain teams that have been tasked to do more with less and become more responsive to an omni-channel customer. Many of these same companies are also expanding internationally and operating multi-banner models. Understanding what to prioritize and where to focus is challenging.

As a result of work done with numerous clients over the years, we have a few things that we think will help you benchmark your capabilities and inform your priorities. They are as follows:
• Best Practice Process Definitions
• Best Practice Industry Job Descriptions
• Alternative Organizational Models

The Parker Avery Group will make this content available to you upon request. If you want a list of the specific processes, job descriptions or organizational models to choose from, send us a quick note.

So why would a boutique consultancy that earns its keep by leveraging this type of information make it available to you?

The reason is simple. We have an extensive knowledge base, but our value is interpreting and applying this knowledge and experience to our client's unique business situation. However, if a process model or organizational picture by itself will help you, then we want you to have it. We know you'll call us when you need us.

As always, give me a call or send a note with thoughts or questions.
